drawing in word document

trying to draw my own designs in a word document, i have customized a toolbar
but cant find any pencil or brush icons from any existing menus to add on to
my own toolbar

Curve, freeform and scribble, there are no pencil or brush tools. These line tools
are in the Autoshape selection in the customize menu.
Microsoft has introduced Codename Acrylic. It has excellent brushes and drawing
tools. A large (80 MB) free download with a large learning curve. You need a Passport
password.

It may be that "cathal" is referring to the Line Color and Fill Color
(artist's brush and paint bucket) tools.
