Drop down Menu

When I use the address bar in Explorer or try to use a
drop down menu in the Look In function when saving a
file. I find that it is taking two - three minutes to
recognize my mouse click. Do I have a corrupt system
file or is there a configuration button I need to change?

Check your mapped drives in the Network Places folder. If there's a
disconnected server you've got a permanent connection mapped to, it can
cause this issue.
