I've tried it. It does just what it says it does.
You can have two powerpoint slideshows running at the same time
Each one will take up half the screen area on one pc.
You can independently advance each slide show.
So it's great for those medical presentations where the presenter would like
to show an image on the left side, while showing the text on the right.
