Duplicate entry in table of contents

I have a word document that has a number of seperate headers at levels
1 ,2,3 when I added a table of contents all worked fine untill I added
a section with a header called Printing works orders this appears
twice in the TOX. Both entries are next to each other and have the
same page numbr Shift Clicking either entry takes me to the same spot
in the document.

I have checked the obvious 2 headers etc and even deleted and re-added
the header but it always adds to lines to the TOC. I know I can delete
a line and its OK but has anyone any ideas what the heck is happening.

Its word 2003 running on XP.

Hi JD,
If you press Alt+F9 to view your field codes, what text is in the
table of contents field code (ie is it Word's standard { TOC \o "1-3"
\h \z\ \u })? There might be something in the field code that is
telling Word to read your Printing heading twice.
Cheers,
Tammy
