Duration changes to fraction

Is it possible for a duration to change if you have not assigned any
resources or work to a task? The only imput has been a percent complete?

Tony,
I don't think so but then the gist of your question tells me you are
seeing a change. Perhaps there is some unique scenario wherein the
duration will change. Can you provide more details?
