Dynamic Connector Labels

If I add a text label to a dynamic connector, the label is
automatically positioned at exactly the middle length of the line. This
sometimes causes labeles of different connectors to overlap or to be
positioned "awkwardly".

Is there any way to reposition a connector's label along it's length?

consider using the text block tool on the tool bar, at least on my system it
allows me to move the text.

How do you do that? Manipulating the margins?
I was thinking along the line of a simple way to repisition text along
the connector's body.

selecting the object (connector) and then selecting the tool will allow you
to move the text. You can do some of it in the shapesheet as well
(texttransform).
