Editing an embedded Excel worksheet using shortcut keys

As a follow to my earlier question, when I insert an excel
worksheet object in Word, the shortcut keys work fine.
Why not in Powerpoint? Do I have a setting in the options
turned off? Or is this a problem with Powerpoint?

What shortcut keys are you referring to?
