Email a confirmation of receipt

I have a slide show that everyone in my organization has to read and I need
to track that it was read. I would like to add a button, link, or something
so when they click it it sends an email to me automatically stating it was
read with date/time info in teh body of the email. I appreciate your
assistance.

Thanks

Yes that is true, but the user would then have to complete the email and push
the send button. I am trying to bypass that and when they click the link it
goes to myself.

You can as well write you mail adress that becomes an hyperlink!

You couild do it in VBA code but,,, that means everyone would need to lower
their security settings in PPT and their email client. If IT has the
machines locked down they may not be able to use it at all.

Does your organisation use any sort of document management system
(GroupWise, FileSite, etc)? If so you *may* be able to get it to tell you -
I remember working at one place and I could see who had accessed a document,
when & for how long which was mighty handy :)
