Email -- Contacts list

I use the Contacts list to select addresses for Email

When select "to" and the "Select Name" window opens, the names are sorted
alphabetically by first name. How do I change this option so that the names
are sorted alphabetically by last name?

You failed to post your Outlook version, so we can't really answer your
question.
For Outlook 2002: Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing
directories or address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your
sort order there
For other versions, post back with your correct version. Please don't make
us try to guess.
