email is stuck in outbox

there is an email stuck in my Microsoft outlook outbox.
it's got an attachment that is too big to send. now when
i open microsoft outlook it is frozen. does anyone know
how to delete this email, so that my microsoft outlook
will work again.

it's frozen when I open it so I cannot archive or delete
this stuck email in my outbox. thnks

Grace, I've seen you ask this help me FIX request, a couple times, and i
see no one has offered any solutions.
I wish i could help but i'm in a similar predicament!

Grace, I would not "hold my breath" waiting for answer(s) from the Mvp's
in this NG.
i have seen this specific question & many others, similar to this issue,
that are either ignored, or go un_answered because they simply don't
know.
Or...maybe, they don't have the time to answer. i just don't know.

I apologize to those who might find my comments to be unjustified &
unfounded... no offense was intended.
i was merely trying to explain the possible reasons for this Ng's "Let
them eat static" response.

Create a new .pst file and set it to be the default. Then go to your outbox
in the old .pst file and delete the mail. Close the new .pst file after
making your old one again the default.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.
