Email links , not linking!

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

I usually complain about links and getting rid of them, but I have one file, with lots of email link. Blue, underlined, but don't link when click them. any idea why? thanks.

Are they actually links? Or just cells formatted with blue text and
underlines?

To test, select one of the cells and type CMD-k. Is there a link address
in the link to: field?

thanks, so much time has passed, I can't remember now the file.
This is the problem with Mactopia and the e mail notification not working.
