Email Messages

email messages received in my Outlook 07 are duplicating when downloaded. The
same message is posted twice. Need advice on how to correct this problem

I'm still learning, but maybe you have the account set to leave messages on
server, and when you access the server the items is downloaded again?

If you have anti virus intergrated with Outlook, the first option to try
would be uninstalling it

This is because you are scanning you in and outgoing emails.
Uninstall your Anti Virus . Then re-install it without the email
integration(scanning). Disabling it alone will not work always and that is the
reason for the above

Ha!

I wasn't having the problem, but no sooner did I post the previous, then my
Outlook started duplicating the messages! Now I'm getting two of every
email that is sent to me--except for a few exceptions (about 15% of the
time, I get only one copy).

Apparently, nobody has any other ideas?
