email repeats itself

I send an email...with an attachment....and it keeps sending the same email. but doesn't appear to have taken place in the "sent" file.
this doesn't happen when I forward an email that someone else has sent to me
I have a virus scan and it reports nothing
any help out there

Find and run scanpst.exe on your computer you may have a damaged pst file.
If that doesn't work a new profile should help you
