Hi,
I'm in charge of a mail server with over 100 domains and I have this
problem only with a few users.
Many email cause Outlook 2003 to stop the receinving process. Some
times is a spam message but other times is a legitime email.
When the user do a send/received, if a "bad" email is on the server,
they can't retrieve theirs new email. The send receive process failed
and then they have to go on the webmail to delete the email (or via
another program).
If they leave the mail there and try to do a send/received again, they
will download a few email a second time but when it's the the time of
the bad email the process failed again and again. So they can't
received all theirs email and they received some email in loop until
they delete the wrog email by another program.
I have found nothing special on the "bad" email. Some times I make
some little change directly on the email (on the server) and then the
user can received the email via outlook. (little change like insering
2-3 "enter" after the headers)
It seem to occur only with Outlook 2003 on some computers, if I copy
the message (on the server) to my mailbox, I can receive them without
any problem and I use Outlook 2003 to.
