when i click on inbox i can see my mail as well as the other user account's mail, what could be the problem.

That's not necessarily a problem. It's how Outlook was set up on your PC:
you're sharing a Personal Folders file with the other account. If you want
distinct Inboxes you'll need separate profiles pointing to separate Personal
Folders files.
