You may try going into the VIEW - Arrange by - Current
View- Messages and make sure you have Mesaages check and
not Unread Messages in this folder. That is in outlook
2003, if another version, should be similar.

View-Current View and ensure that it is not set to "Unread messages"

And please turn your caps lock off.
