Emailing Word Document Using Macro

Hi All,
I hope someone can help me, We have a word document for
requesting a courier service, the user currently has to
open the document from our Intranet, enters the data then
sends it as an attachment to our stores dept.

I am trying to set-up a macro that will do this
automatically, when I try to record a new macro it gets
as far as opening the new message window with the
attachment but it does not populate the To: field and
does not send the e-mail.
Could anybody point me in the right direction of any
websites etc..
