Emails won't send

Am using Outlook 2002, part of Office XP professional. Outlook will not send messages if file attachment is larger than 20kb. I have downloaded all updates available from Microsoft.com, and the problem still exists. Any suggestions? Thanks

Are you sure that Outlook won't send, or is it your mail server is not
accepting attachments greater than 20kb? 20kb is trivially small. How
did you establish this is the limit? Try something at 19kb and it
worked, and 20kb failed? What was the exact error message?
