emphasis on one line in an imported Excel workbook

I seen presentations in the past where an excel workbook is shown on the
slide and there is an animaiton that turns the slide transparent and selects
one Row and enlarges it. I have seen the same type of animation/effect with
pie charts as well.

Does anyone know how to do this?
