Enable Check Box

Hello,

I am making a questionnaire using various Check Boxes to indicate a
customers preferences.
The Check Boxes are in my Word document but I don't know how to make
them active, in other words that when you click on the Check Box that
it automatically enables (or disables).
Do I have to use some kind of Macro or is it just a setting issue?

Any help is most welcome.

The document has to be "protected for forms". You can usually use the lock icon
on the Forms toolbar, unless you have multiple sections in the document and you
want some sections to be unprotected -- then you need to use the Tools > Protect
Document command.
