Enterprise Task Outline Codes

John

Thanks for answering my question about outline codes yesterday. Now I have
a new question: I have set up a task outline code. When I click on the
drop down box for my options, I get a little folder icon right next to the
option text. I can see some of our users getting confused over the folder
icon, is there a way to change that? Or is that going to be just a sentence
in a training class?

Hi John,

Don't hold me to this, but I do not believe you can change the folder icon.
If no one else responds here, ask this question at
microsoft.public.project.vba. There might be a way to programmatically
change it and the wizards at that newsgroup might have some ideas.

I believe that the little yellow folder icon is the standard nomenclature
for outline code fields. When you conduct a training class, just smile at
your students and say, "Don't have a cow, man! This is just Microsoft
Project's way of letting us know we're looking at something COOL!" :) And
then let it go at that. Hope this helps!
