Entourage 2004: Project color dots missing and mail and newssorting wrong

Helmut Messerer

Since the other day, after starting Entourage 2004, there are NO colored
dots indicating the projects accompanying the mail messages anymore, and
sorting does not seem to work either.

With mail messages, the sorting is reverse ("A on top" means actually "Z on
top" and vice versa), while now when I look at the newsgroup, and I have
"Arrange By: Subject"... it's more or less RANDOM, with "A on top" it looks
like this:

Clicking "Z on top" will reverse this exact thing, but its still not
alphabetical at all.

This happened on SP1, I then installed SP2, but that didn't help.

This is caused by Apple's recent security update. MS are aware of the
problem.

I haven't seen any of these problems myself, nor have there been common
reports.

It may help to rebuild the database.
