Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: Exchange

My Entourage calendar displays my All-day events the day before they are displayed on my Exchange server. For example I input an all-day event for Tuesday and it shows up on the exchange server as Tuesday, but on my Mac with Entourage, it shows up on Monday.

Please Help!

Hi Jon!

Are you and your Exchange Server in the same time zone?

Both are in the same time zone. This is only happening with "all-day" appointments. The ones placed in individual time slots are correct.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon!

Can you please give me step-by-step details of how to reproduce this?
Are you not creating the event in Entourage? Are you using Outlook?

Specifically:

What version of Exchange (2000, 2003 or 2007)?

What version of Outlook and have you verified its time zone?

Is your Windows system's time zone correct?

If you go into Outlook Web Access (OWA), is that time zone your current
time zone?

Is Entourage's selected time zone for new events your current time zone?

Is your Mac's time zone your current time zone?

Where in Entourage are you seeing the incorrect event? In Week view,
Month view? All views? If you open the message is the day wrong there as
well?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply William. Sorry it took so long for a response.

OK, All-day Events are created in OWA (Exchange Server 2007). It is a hosted exchange server (4smartphone.net). I have the correct time-zone set in both OWA, my PC computers using Outlook and my Macs using Entourage.

So, I put an All-day event into OWA for April 4th. When I look in my Outlook calendars on my PCs, the events are correctly placed. When I look in on my Macs (both Entourage 2008) the same events are posted on April 3rd.

If I put the same events into a time slot, for example 9:30am on April 4th. They show up on all the computers correctly.

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

I am having the same problem, but I am entering the events in Outlook
2007 on a PC...they show up fine in OWA, but one day early in
Entourage 2004 and 2008

Hi Jon!

Sorry to take so long to reply.

This KB article is related and I believe the fix listed in it will fix
your issue too. It was recommended by Mu Zhang from Microsoft in another
thread for the same problem. I'd be curious to know if it does.

"An Entourage user may receive a meeting request that does not
correspond to the meeting time that is specified by the meeting
organizer in an Exchange Server 2003 organization"
