Entourage not retrieving emails with a "+" in the subject

Using entourage 2008 on Mac OS 10.5.6 with exchange server (assuming its 2007
- its with my school).
I noticed that not retrieving all email messages, but they do appear in all
other clients (OWA, Outlook, Mac Mail). Narrowed it down that the emails I'm
not receiving have a "+" in the subject.
Quick google, confirmed this is an issue
http://blogs.technet.com/amir/archi...urage-with-exchange-2007-on-windows-2008.aspx

My question is, as an end-user, how can I fix this. Getting my university to
change their servers config isn't easy. Is there anything I can do?

How can microsoft release this version and not address this bug. Its
incredible how many emails have a "+" in them.

Any advice is apprecaited
Thanks

Have you notified your university about the problem?
There is no other fix AFAIK.

I did notify them, over the weekend, so we'll see on monday what their
response will be.
I've had so many problems with Entourage and Exchange 2007 (this problem,
accessing public folders, shared calendars, etc..)

I would be embarassed to release a software so incompatible with exchange
server!
I mean for heaven's sake, can't accept any emails with a + in them?
Ridiculous.
It's not realistic either to expect end-users to make changes to corporate
exchange servers either.

Can't they just make a windows update and update the exchange server? why
does one have to go to a third party website to read about a fix?

(This is just a rant out loud! - Thanks for your reply Diane!! :)

Have you looked at the beta for Entourage and EWS?

Entourage for Exchange Web Services Beta goes live!

Hope it makes you feel better. We all need to rant sometimes.
