EPS file for commercial printer or Tiff File

I am trying to get a file to a magazine that needs either a tif file (300
dpi) or an eps with fonts oultined. Is there anyway to do this with
Publisher? The version I have is 2003, and it is a full color (CMYK) ad.
It looks like the only tiff I can convert to is grayscale and that there is
no way to convert the fonts to paths/outlines. The only other graphic type
program I have is Photoshop elements which doesn't work with CMYK.
Am I totally out of luck?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, thanks I just figured out that when I upgraded I gained the ability to
save as a 300 dpi tif. :) Does the new version still not offer a satisfactory
eps option? I read the conversation here about converting to outlines not
working.

Hi Lori,
Your type will look like crap if you save it as a 300 dpi tiff. Your
best bet would be a pdf with the fonts embedded. They should be able to
take that. If not, find another printer.
