eronious emails

At times when i hit send/Recieve my outlook will send out
emails I dont know where they came from as I did not
compse any emails. It will show a sending message and
when complete there will be nothing in my sent box. Nor
was there anything in my outbox when i initiated the
snd/rcv. Can anyone help me with this. How to stop it
and how to find what the emails are and where they are
going?
