Error Encountered - Have to Close

One of our users is consistently and repeatedly getting the message saying
that Project has encountered an error and has to close. This occurs when he
(1) opens a project file and (2) opens the resource pool, and (3) tries to
link the resource pool to the project. I have tried the same sequence with
the exact same files (they are on a network server) w/o any problem. My
coworker has even tried reinstalling MS Project but still gets the same
error. Any ideas what is causing this or how to fix it????

It sounds like one or more of the files has corruption even though you
don't have problems. Go to our MVP website at:
http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm
and take a look at FAQ 43 - File Bloat? Might be corruption.
