The full error message is:-
Task'pop.tools.sky.com - Receiving reported error (0x80040600) : 'Unknown
Error 0x80040600'
after pressing Send/Receive, the dialog box comes up and tells me I've got
11 messages, then disappears, unless I am really quick in clicking on to it,
whereupon the error message comes up.

I have now fixed it by going to the Inbox repair tool.

same problem here too. When I try to open an existing .pst file using Outlook 2002, SP-2 I get the following error code <a href="http://www.articlewritingclicks.com...r_Code_in_Outlook__Here_is_How_to_Fix_it.html" target="_blank">0x80040600</a>
First off, your problem has nothing to do with someone elses's problem
from OVER 2 YEARS ago.
Second, if you get an error code that points to
articlewritingclicks.com , your system is fucked.
