Error message when clicking on out of office agent

when clicking on out of office agent to let people know Im
back in the office I get the following error message. "
The command is not available. See the program
documentation about how to use this extension" I have
updated to sp1 and reinstalled office to no help. I was
just wondering how I can fix this issue as I will be
leaving town again in a few weeks and need this function
to work.

Out of Office Assistant is an available feature only if you connect to
Microsoft Exchange Server as your mail server. If you don't use Exchange
Server, you can use Outlook Rules Wizard or one of the third-party automatic
