error message when Outlook opens

I have just imported my contacts to my new PC running Outlook 2003. Every
time Outlook opens it comes up with the following error message: 'The path
specified for the file F:/contacts.backup.pst is not valid'. F:/contacts
etc etc was the disk I used to transfer in my contacts from my other machine.
Obviously Outlook is looking for this file but can't find it -
unsurprisingly as it was a file on a USB drive. As my contacts have
trasnsferred in beautifully, how can I remove the annoying error message?

Thanks for your help.

Does that set of folders show on your folder tree? If so, try right clicking
on it and choosing Close

Thanks Vince.

There were two sets of folders - one namred contacts and one named
contactsbackup. Closing the backups folder was the first thing I tried -
should have guessed it was too obvious!

I still get the error message.
