error on numbers

I really need some help! When I type a number in my excel sheet, excel
divides it with 10. That occurs in a new sheet, existing sheet or a worksheet
that has been mailed to me.

Anyone?

Try a quick check:

Click Tools > Options > Edit tab
Uncheck "Fixed decimal" > OK
(its probably checked to 1 d.p.)

Difficult to set up a budget when excel divides with 10!
