error with Word trying to re-install program

Hi,
Every time I open Word (or Excel), the program searches
for the CD to re-install it. I have to click cancel every
time or it will go through the entire process of looking
for the program to install.

I think this may be because of a screen saver program I
installed, but I tried to get rid of that program by
deleting all of the files (including the uninstall one,
unfortunately), but I'm still having problems with Word &
Excel.

If anyone out there has any suggestions, I would really
appreciate it!
