How many PC and/or Laptops can MS office pro 2003 adademic version be
downloaded on? I have read both "2PCs" and "1 PC and 1 portable" ??? We have
several PC's and a couple of laptops in our home that are all used by college
level students. It would be nice to have all running the same version of
office.
thanks DL

The Academic licence has the same restrictions as retail licence of Office
Professional that is

One desktop and one laptop on the provision that: -

a) They are for the sole use of the licencee (i.e. you)
b) They are not in simultaneous use.

You are confusing it with the Student and Teachers Edition (which you can
walk into any computer store and pick up off the shelf) which is Office
Standard (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and can be installed on
*three* systems in any combination.

An academic licence is for sale only through a licensed educational
institution.
