Entourage tells me my database is full and to rebuild. I have done both the typical rebuild and the advanced rebuild and I get this message every time. I have trashed deleted messages and many of my folders. How do I solve this problem?

How big is the Database file in your Microsoft User Data folder? The
Database files for Entourage X has a limit of 4GB. Review this
information for starters:

"Size Limits of Database"

First, make sure you're completely up-to-date. The latest version of
Entourage X is 10.1.9 (found under the Entourage menu).

Then, instead of rebuilding you want to compact.

Hope this helps!

Entourage tells me my database is full and to rebuild.

First, make a backup copy of your Identity. You are in danger of Entourage
not opening and you will loose all your data. As long as you can open
Entourage you can salvage your data.

I recommend that you consider upgrading to Office 2008. If you don't need
Exchange you can get Office 2008 very reasonably. $129.99

If you plan on keeping Entourage X, then know you are using End of Life
software and it will no longer be updated. It was not even updated two years
ago for the new Daylight Saving Time changes.

Rather than trying to rebuild, you need to create a new Identity. How to
manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move to a new
Identity same version or revert to an older version)

Hope this helps!
