Excel display problem

Upon calculation, the display of Excel is messed up... it's as if the
worksheet has transparent windows in it through which you see cells from
other sheets in the workbook. If I click on a different tab then back, it's
fine again. If I hit the PgDn then PgUp key, it's fine again.

The problem appeared suddenly after a automatic Windows update... though I
have no idea if there's a connection. The problem appeared simultaneous on
several different .xls workbooks. The workbooks have some similarities: they
all contain many formulas and complex vba procedures... but worked fine
previously.

The problem appeared first in Excel 2003, but when I open the same workbooks
in Excel 2007, the problem persists. The problem also persists when I save
these workbooks in .xlsm format. It persists when I open the same workbooks
on a different laptop.

There's no problem if I open in Excel 2007 and DON'T enable macros. But if I
do enable macros and run a vba procedure, then the problem appears afterwards
with each recalc.

I'd much appreciate ANY clue as to how to approach the problem.

I have exactly the same problem. Started just after a Windows update 11 Nov.
Problem only occurs when VBA code or ActiveX control is used.

It is known problem and has been reported.

For now just uninstall the two updates.
