Excel question

I'm using the export to a file feature to write my contacts into an excel
file. But the columns do not expand to accomodate the headings and data in
each column. How do I fix this?

this doesn't say much for the export to excel feature if i need to manually
adjust column widths. If this auto-adjustment can be achieved by a vbs script
I don't see why it is so inefficient through the export feature.

The "column width" is a "user observation issue". The "observed width"
has nothing to do with the contents. If you wish to expand the view size
of the column to fit the length to the various things you imported,
adjust it to suit your preference. OR you can select all the columns
with your mouse and then "double click" on the right edge of the right
most column and "auto adjust" them all. Please try it.
