I am trying to set up someone's laptop so that when they are in the
office they connect to company exchange server and will also get their
MSN8 Mail and when they are are out of the office there local user
account can share the .pst file so he can still use the same contact
list and still see emails that have already been downloaded.
I currently have the contacts all being OK. I have created a .pst file
that is seperate from the local settings area. Then when I set up
accounts under each login I pointed the accounts to point to the
common .pst file. My only problem is that when mail is received via
the MSN account it goes into a Inbox under a folder other then
Personal Folders where the main inbox is and all the contacts.
I went into tools/email accounts and have clicked to have mail
delivered into personal folders, but when I check the properties of
the account the data file is still pointing to C:\documents and
settings\USERNAME\local settings\ ...." instead of c:\PST\shared.pst.
Hope I am being clear.. I would appreciate any help anybody can give.
