explorer favorites icon

Can anyone tell me the best way to load an icon into my
web in Frontpage so that it will actually appear when
someone favorites my site. I have tried the favicon.ico
thing and it does not seem to load up properly. Thanks.

Hmm. I thought they were talking about the favicon.ico file and needed help in where to place it,
how to reference it.

Import it like any other file and put it in the root
directory.

Put this in the head of your pages.
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-
icon"> being sure to change the URL in subdirectories.
