Export Power Point slides into Publisher?

I am currently working on a project to create a training session workbook,
based upon an existing Power Point presentation. Since the only export path
provided from Power Point is into a Word document, my only option appears to
be copy/paste from the open presentation into my Publisher document. Doesn't
seem to be any better option for extracting slides into a Publisher layout. I
am using Power Point 2002, Enterprise Edition and Publisher 2003.

I've found that JPEGs don't have the resolution for print that I need.
However, I just discovered that Enhanced Windows Metafiles do very nicely,
and have a compact file size to boot.

I'd suggest saving each slide as a jpg and then insert that image file into
the pub page.
