export task list such that indentation stays

I need to share my task list of the project I am making in MS Project (I
haven't sequenced the tasks yet) with other colleagues who don't have MS
Project but do have MS Excel, Word etc.

If i simply cut-copy-paste, I get all the tasks but i lose the
indentation/grouping.

Amol,
You might want to take a look at fellow MVP, Jack Dahlgren's website at:
http://masamiki.com/project/macros.htm
Look for Jack's macro called, "Export hierarchy to Excel"

Hope this helps.

Thank you John. I tried it out and it works like a charm. Please let me
know if there is a URL that has a compendium of all such great sites or if
there is a group that I can join to improve my Project skills?

Thanks a ton!

Amol,
You're welcome. As Rob said this is the best newsgroup for general
questions/issues on Project. However, there are also a couple of sister
groups. Check out FAQ 24 - Project Newsgroups using the FAQ link on the
main MVP website Rob listed.
