Export Tasks and Gantt Chart with Large number of tasks

I have a client that has 1200 tasks in a project. they want to make the
project plan available to people who do not have project (both the task list
and the Gantt Chart)

I tested the copy as picture, and it would not show 1200 rows, (it only
showed 32.)

Is there any way to Copy that much data into another file format (picture,
excel, etc?) Client needs both the Task list and the Gantt Chart.

Hi Katie,

From Project 2000 onward, if you select all, copy picture "for selected
tasks" will give a decent picture

And if you have a pdf printer you can print as pdf

Thanks for writing back.

I had already tried for selected tasks, but it had a problem with showing
1200 tasks.

I had checked out the project veiwers, but the ones that would also show the
Gantt Chart all involved installing software on the recipient machines, and
they work off standardized images (installing unapproved software is a no-no.)

Do you have any other ideas?

Hi,

I tried, I didn't even know there was a problem with the max depth of the
gif image. Sorry.
Other than having a pdf software (if you do not like the free downloadable
stuff there is Adobe distiller) approved and then installed I see no option.

Hi Katie,

I can only suggest you copy it in a number of pictures until they're all
done. That said, I'd be surprised if the recipients didn't have a pdf reader
already installed on their PCs.
