When viewing a document in Word 2000 things look okay in
normal view, but in page layout view I seem to have a
major heading repeated on several pages with the detail
below it only on the last (fourth) page.
When I try and print the document I get 3 blank pages
(except for header and footer) before the page with major
heading. The document is quite large and has several major
heading but the print out only shows blank pages on 2 of
them.
I suspected a memory problem however colleagues with PC
with more memory get the same problem. There is another
colleague with a similar machine that is using Word97 who
doesn't have this problem.
Is this a problem with the document or is there something
that Word2000 is doing differently to Word97.
PS. Another colleague with Word2002 gets the same problem.
PPS. It's not an o/s problem as they are all different.

Do you have nonprinting characters displayed? If so, are you seeing extra
paragraph marks? Are there many paragraphs formatted as "Keep with next"?
This can cause paragraphs to "chase" each other from one page to the next.
