Extract Attachments from an email item?

I had a user who wanted to move all the items in his deleted item folder to
another folder. Somehow, this created 2 messages with almost a thousand
attachments each which are the original items in the Deleted Items folder.
What I need to do now is to loop through the attachments collection on each
message and save them back to the Deleted Items folder (or another folder),
but I can seem to get them out of the original email items that Outlook
automatically created to hold them. Can any of you gurus (that means you,
Sue) help me figure out how to convert these attachments (which are mostly
email messages, but some contacts) back to Outlook items?
