Failed Publisher Installation

Office 2K. Word and Excel installed and working properly.

Win95 OS
Networked

When I attempted to install Publisher from Disk 2 The machine stalled during
the reboot. I had to do alt-crtl-del to continue.

When the PC rebooted I got a message something about that the same user must
be logged on to continue installation.

I tried to uninstall "Disk 2" from the Add/Remove programs area. Got a
message about the program had not been fully installed.

There is only one user.

I tried unplugging from the network.

I tired from Safe Mode.

I tried reinstalling but I get the same message about an incomplete install.

I'm out of ideas on how to uninstall so I can try again.

Any suggestions? Thanks....

Subsequently I installed Paint Shop Pro v7. During the installation a
noticed popped saying that an Office installation was in progress and
offered to close it. I accepted.

Voila, after finishing the PSP install I was able to complete the Publisher
install using the installation CD.
