Faxing without a modem

Sue

I have XP and use a wireless broadband connection to connect to the internet.
Is there any way of sending faxes if you don't have a modem and phone
connection?
Thanks

Unlike most dial-up modems, a broadband modem is not capable
of connecting to fax machines, so you cannot send or receive faxes
directly.

In order to send and receives faxes, you'll need a conventional fax modem
with a live telephone line attached. You cannot use broadband unless you
use a web-base fax service, such as eFax:

Or consider purchasing a conventional fax machine and connect it to your
phone line.

Unless you use a fax to e-mail service, you will need an analogue modem to
connect to the analogue fax machine at the other end of the telephone line..
for more on eFax...

Sue, You need to get hooked up with an internet fax company. You don't need
anything else to install. They can get pricey. If you don't do much theyn
it is worth it. I send out 4000 a month and that way would cost me a fortune.
