File Attachments

Recipients don't get my file attachments - pdf or word

I am sending a file from Outlook to Outlook Express asnd
the file doesn't get there. The Outlook Express gets
files all the time.

When I check my sent messages in Outlook, it shows that
an attachment was sent.

This probably doesn't help but I have been having trouble
sending attachments from Outlook Express. At the top of
the email, there is the message (something like): "OE has
deleted the dangerous file". However if I send the same
attachment from Outlook, it works. I know there is
nothing wrong with the files; I've scanned them with
Norton.

Make sure you use HTML or Plain Text format when sending messages to Outlook
Express users, or users of any other e-mail client besides Outlook. Don't
use Rich Text format, which is proprietary to Outlook and will cause
problems for other recipients, one of which is that they won't get your
attachments.
