file compression

I am trying to sen 11 attachments (word documents) via
outlook and they are 750kb each. I tried 4 then 3 then 2
then 1. it takes forever and they never send. I cant seem
to find anything in xp to do a file compression, any help
would be appreciated.

Have you tried downloading Winzip (http://www.winzip.com)?

Rightclick on the file and choose Send To-> Compressed (Zipped) Folder
