File formatting problem.

Hi,

I'm using PowerPoint 2000 with service pack 3 installed.

I have this presentation that when opened on the machine
that created it, it looks fine but when opened on any
other machine (again using PowerPoint 2000 with service
pack 3) the formatting is out of place for example one
line of text becomes two in a text box, the text spilling
onto the next line. I tried many things including making
sure all the machines have the same fonts etc but that did
not solve it. The font I'm using is VAG Rounded Thin. Any
help on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Phil,

Are all the machines set at the same display resolution? Check by going to
the control panel and clicking on display, settings and check the screen area.

Hi Glenna,

Thanks for your help. The machines are set at the same
display resolution but after fiddling about some more I
found the solution. It appears that when I copied the
fonts over from one machine to the others I only copied
one and not the whole family. After doing that the
presentation looks the same on all machines.

Sorry to bother you,

Phil.
