File Locations in Word

We are running Word 2002 under Windows XP. We have the File Locations in word pointing to a network drive. Every now and again, when you click on open, it does not go to the network drive but instead defaults to either "My Documents" or a directory called "OLK. When this occurs, all network drives are visible and you can manually get back to them.

I would appreciate any help on this very annoying problem.
