I would like to know the most effective way to manage a
document that I would like to use version control and
track changes that will allow me to create a 50-60 page
document with multiple versions and changes.
In addition I would like to email this to email accounts
that can handle attachments up to 3mb.
Any ideas or suggestions of what I shouldn't do in order
to keep my file size smaller? I use Win XP Pro and used
the 'Send To' command, option 'Compressed to folder' and
this took my 80MB document down to 39MB.
I had 6 pages of screen shots embedded in this document.
I guess I am not really too concerned with tracking every
single change to the document because I know that I will
definitely want to track my versions, but does anyone
know how the file size management is performed for the
options used in my first document explained?
Thx,
Dave
